About the Department of Diagnostic Imaging
MRI, CT, mammography, echocardiography, ultrasonography and X-rays are just a few of the tests that are performed in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at University Suburban Health Center. The tests help physicians in diagnosing problems and confirming treatment progress. The department's sophisticated equipment, the kind usually found only in research centers, as well as its certified staff and board-certified radiologists, ensure the accuracy of every test result. All imaging procedures are performed in addition to those procedures using special equipment, such as, nuclear medicine gamma camera used for evaluating bone, thyroid and liver disorders and bone densitometry for the evaluation of osteoporosis.
Digital Testing
All tests in the Diagnostic Imaging Department produce results that are digital. This means that your doctor can retrieve your results quickly from his/her computer and your images can be stored indefinitely for quick retrievel, when needed.
