About the GI Center at the Wright Surgery Center
The Wright Surgery Center's (WSC) GI Center is the only endoscopy facility affiliated with University Suburban Health Center. Board-certified gastroenterologists have been performing procedures, such as colonoscopy, at the WSC for 25 years.
Gastroenterologists The board-certified gastroenterologists who are permitted to use the Wright Surgery Center are well-respected leaders in their field. They diagnose and treat diseases of the upper and lower digestive tract using endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopy. They also exceed the national standards for quality indicators, which includes scope withdrawal time and adenomatous polyp detection, as set forth by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endscopy (ASGE).
